I was so excited to work with Makenna. This was such a special session. Not only is Makenna one of our neighbors but she is a highly preferred babysitter of our kids! She's so awesome with the kids and Siena especially loves that she is an amazing tumbling and cheer athlete! Makenna has been a competitive cheerleader with Rockstar Cheer Pittsburgh, like Sydney. It was really awesome that we were able to collaborate for her senior photos.
We wanted to really capture the edge of the city and of course, ensure we got one of Pittsburgh's iconic bridges in the photos as well. At the time of our shoot, Makenna was still undecided on her final decision after being accepted to many amazing colleges. University of Pittsburgh, my alma mater, was high on her list of choices. Since we were already in the city, we decided to shoot over to campus and grab some photos there. It must have been meant to be, as she has decided that become a fellow Panther!
