I had the opportunity to meet Sydney and her family through the Adopt-A-Senior phenomenon. If you aren't familiar with it, essentially people are rallying around the Class of 2020 and showering them with some extra love. Be it through sending cards, gift boxes, or in this case, a photography session, these seniors are getting some extra TLC in the close of an unprecedented senior year. My goal with this session was to shed some joy and excitement to Sydney as she closes out her high school chapter. I think by the smile on her face, we definitely accomplished that goal.
Sydney is heading to Bowling Green State University in the fall to study finance and accounting. She's one smart cookie! While at university, she will also be on the BGSU Cheer squad, where she will be continuing her passion for cheer. She is currently an elite competitive cheerleader for Rockstar Cheer Pittsburgh. While her season has been cut short, you would never that getting her down. She radiates such positivity, it is contagious!
We met at her high school, Pine Richland in Mars, PA. We had a great time exploring some of her favorite spots on campus. I LOVE that mom and dad joined in the fun. You can tell by how they interacted what a special bond they have. I definitely teared up at some of the ones of Syd with her mom! Her and her dad have such a hilarious relationship, one for the ages (wait for the flexing photo)! Lauren, Sydney's bestie also joined in the fun and we got some great photos of the girls being girls.
